VISIBLE

“VISIBLE,” was a celebration of the diversity and beauty of queer representation to celebrate Pride 2023 at 2358 MRKT Gallery. The portraits, which serve as the centerpiece of the exhibition, is a year long study that came about through a grant by the San Francisco Arts Commission. 

“VISIBLE” also featured works of over forty other LGBTQ+ artists, invited to take part in expanding the representation of queer expression and identity. This diverse group of artists, some of whom have modeled for Abbati, represent a wide range of backgrounds in terms of race, gender identity, sexuality, and culture.
